Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
