Nineteen of Daniil Medvedev's 21 titles have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback the Russian player secured his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with victory over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a challenging season, managing just one win at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the US Open.
His varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in especial - resulted in him exiting of the top ten and finally splitting with long-term mentor Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over challenger Moutet.
This marks the player's initial title after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface from March of 2023.
Success also indicates he has won twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a tournament with my children together, so to get a title is particularly special," stated world number 14 the champion.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the first title I got when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had failed in his past six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive approach and recurring outbursts on the tennis court had caused commentators to doubt if his ability to play at the elite level was concluded.
But the player has made changes in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and compete aggressively, reinforced by an improved serve.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the final five exchanges to take the lead.
The pair swapped service breaks in the middle set before the challenger, attempting for his initial tour title, gained dominance to create a decider.
Moutet saved four initial chances in a tight final set before the champion won the break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the title with a shot at the net, with the Frenchman unable to handle a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
